IVCI (the Internet Video Credit Index) provides a catalog of internet videos, creators, and production credits. This policy explains how IVCI collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use ivcreditindex.com and related services.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your name, email address, profile image, account identifier, and authentication details provided by your sign-in provider.
- Platform information: public channel or account identifiers, names, profile images, and metadata from services such as YouTube and Twitch when you connect or verify an account.
- Catalog contributions: videos, images, credits, claims, evidence, corrections, and other information you submit.
- Usage and technical information: requests, timestamps, browser and device information, IP addresses, and security or diagnostic logs.
Google and YouTube data
If you connect a Google or YouTube account, IVCI uses the authorized data only to identify your YouTube channel, verify that you control it, and provide related account features. IVCI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke IVCI's Google access from your Google Account connections. You may also request deletion as described below.
How we use information
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve IVCI.
- Authenticate users and verify control of platform accounts.
- Publish and moderate catalog records and credit claims.
- Prevent abuse, investigate disputes, and enforce our terms.
- Comply with law and protect users, IVCI, and the public.
How we share information
Catalog profiles, platform accounts, videos, credits, and contributions intended for publication may be public. We may share other information with service providers that host, secure, or support IVCI, including Cloudflare and authentication or platform providers. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including maintaining catalog integrity, resolving disputes, meeting legal obligations, and preventing abuse.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. To request account or connected-platform data deletion, email dev@itsgymnasium.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some public catalog facts or audit records may be retained where necessary for legitimate, legal, or historical purposes.
Children
IVCI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as IVCI evolves. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service.
